How to use
- report.pdf
Add a PDF
- report.pdf{page} inserts the number
Set the text and margins
- report (numbered).pdf
Save the PDF with headers and footers
Drop a PDF or click “Choose file”. Page 1 appears in the preview.
Type the text for the left, centre and right of the header and footer. {page}, {total}, {date} and {filename} are replaced with their values when you save.
Choose the font size, colour and margin (mm). You can also skip the cover, mirror the left and right on facing pages, and limit the pages.
Use the previous and next buttons to check other pages, and make sure the text does not overlap the body.
Click “Save” and download the file.
What it does
Six slots, set separately
Each of the six places (header and footer, left, centre, right) takes fixed text and placeholders for page number, total pages, date and file name. Empty slots add nothing.
Preview uses the same processing as saving
The preview builds a one-page PDF with the same code as the save, so the page numbering and the position match the saved file.
Japanese text, selectable and searchable
Noto Sans JP (SIL Open Font License) is loaded only when the text contains Japanese, and only the characters used are embedded. The text in the saved PDF can be selected and searched.
Skip the cover, move numbers to the outer edge
Page 1 can be skipped. Swapping left and right on odd and even pages puts the text on the outer edge of facing pages. You can also choose a page range such as 2-5, 8.
The original content is kept
The text is added as a new layer over the existing content, so the body, images, bookmarks and links are not rewritten.
Use cases
- Mark every page of a document with “Confidential”
- Print page numbers with the total (for example 3 / 12)
- Put a document name and date at the top of minutes or a report
- Place page numbers on the outer edge of a duplex-printed booklet

Limits & notes
- Also works on phones and tablets, but a PC is more reliable for fine positioning and checking the result.
- Up to 300 MB and 1000 pages per file. Each line of text is up to 120 characters and must fit the page width inside the margins; otherwise the file is not saved.
- Font size 6–24 pt, margin 3–50 mm. A small margin can hide text at the binding or the edge of a printed page.
- Overlap with the body is not detected. Check the preview, and widen the margin or change the text if they overlap.
- The text is drawn over the page; existing content is never erased or redrawn.
- {date} is the date on this device when you save (not the file’s creation date).
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
Privacy & safety
Reading, previewing and saving the PDF all happen in your browser; the PDF is never sent to a server.

PDF Watermark & Page Numbers
Add watermarks (text or a logo), page numbers and Bates numbers to PDFs. Japanese watermarks work and the text in the exported PDF stays selectable. Your PDFs are processed on your device and never uploaded.
PDF Editor
Lay text (Japanese included), shapes, arrows, a highlighter, freehand drawing and images on top of a PDF, and fill in its form fields. Text, shapes, highlights and freehand strokes are written as PDF vectors and real text, never as pictures; an added image is embedded as an image. Rewriting the original text and true redaction are not possible.
Merge PDF
Drop several PDFs, put them in order, and get one PDF. You can also choose which pages to take from each file. Nothing is uploaded — merging happens on your device.
Images to PDF
Drop images, put them in order and get one PDF. Choose page size, orientation and margins; phone photos are rotated correctly. Images are converted on your device and never uploaded.
Compress PDF
Drop a PDF to cut its size. Only photos and scans are recompressed, so text and graphics stay crisp. Your PDF is processed on your device and never uploaded.
PDF Extract
Take the text, images, links, attachments, form values and bookmarks embedded in a PDF, for the pages you choose. Images stay as embedded (JPEG untouched). Your PDF never leaves your device.
