Merge PDF

Drop several PDFs, put them in order, and get one PDF. You can also choose which pages to take from each file. Nothing is uploaded — merging happens on your device.

On-device・No upload

Your files and input are processed only inside your browser on this device and are never uploaded to our servers.

PDFs are processed in this browser on your device and never uploaded.Accepts: PDFUp to 300 MB per filePaste (Ctrl+V) also works

How to use

  1. Drop PDFs or click “Choose files” (multiple files; you can add more later).

  2. Drag the handle on the left or use the ↑↓ buttons to set the order. “Sort by name” orders them all at once.

  3. To use only some pages of a file, type them in “Pages to use”, e.g. 1-3, 5 (blank = all pages).

  4. Enter a file name and click “Merge PDFs”.

  5. Download the result or open it in a new tab to check it.

What it does

Safe — no upload

Merging runs inside your browser (in a Web Worker). Contracts and confidential documents never leave your device.

Page selection per file

Use ranges like “1-3, 5, 8-”, “odd”, “even” or “last” to take exactly the pages you need, in any order. Reversed ranges (5-1) and repeats work too.

Intuitive ordering

Reorder by drag and drop, by keyboard (focus the handle and press ↑↓) or with the move buttons. First-page thumbnails prevent mix-ups.

Original quality

Pages are copied as-is — no re-rendering or recompression — so text and images keep their quality and text stays searchable.

Handles large files

Up to 300 MB per file and 100 files. The page stays responsive and you can stop at any time.

Use cases

  • Send several invoices or quotes as one attachment
  • Put the front and back scans of a document into one file
  • Combine a report with its appendices for submission
  • Collect only the pages you need from several PDFs into one

Limits & notes

  • Up to 300 MB per file and 100 files per merge. Very large totals may fail if your device runs out of memory.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
  • Form fields and digital signatures are not carried over (bookmarks are, only those that lead to pages kept in the output). Filled-in values stay as part of the page (no longer editable).
  • Links between pages (explicit and named destinations) are re-pointed at the merged copy of the page in the same source file. Links whose target cannot be found, and links to pages left out by the page selection, are removed, so nothing from those pages ends up in the merged PDF. Links to URLs, notes and highlights are kept. Links never cross from one file into another.
  • For rotating or deleting individual pages, use “Organize PDF pages”.

Privacy & safety

Loading, previewing and merging PDFs all happen in your browser. Files are never sent to LIBRA Works or any third party, and are cleared from memory when you close the page.

FAQ

Does merging reduce quality?
No. Page contents are copied without re-rendering or recompression, so text and images look exactly as before.
Can I merge only some pages?
Yes. Type pages such as “1-3, 5” in “Pages to use” for each file. “odd”, “even”, “last” and reversed ranges like “5-1” also work.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Merging happens in your browser, so PDFs are never sent to a server. It even works offline once the page has loaded.
Why can’t I merge a password-protected PDF?
Its contents are encrypted. If you are authorised, remove the password first and then merge.
What happens to bookmarks?
Bookmarks that lead to pages kept in the output are carried over with their hierarchy, in the order you added the files. Bookmarks to unused pages and external links are left out. The result shows how many were carried over.
Do links in the text and table-of-contents links still work?
Links between pages are kept and re-pointed at the pages of the same source file. Only links to pages you left out are removed, and nothing from those pages stays in the output. Links to URLs work as before.
