What it does

Accurate rendering, including CJK

Pages are rendered with pdf.js and CMaps, so Japanese, Chinese and Korean text renders correctly.

Resolution and format

Five resolutions from 72 to 300 dpi and PNG (lossless, optional transparency), JPEG or WebP — with an estimate of the image size per page.

Page ranges

Convert only what you need with ranges like “1-3, 5”, “odd” or “last”.

No upload

Rendering and export happen in your browser, so confidential documents stay on your device.

Use cases

  • Use a PDF page as an image in a social post or presentation
  • Submit a PDF to a site that only accepts images
  • Save slides or drawings as one PNG per page
  • Get high-resolution (300 dpi) images for printing

Limits & notes

  • Up to 300 MB per file. Many pages at high resolution use a lot of memory.
  • Pages above 40 megapixels (e.g. large drawings) are rendered at a lower resolution automatically.
  • Some form fields and annotations may look different from desktop PDF viewers.

Privacy & safety

Rendering and image export happen entirely in your browser; neither the PDF nor the images are sent to a server.

FAQ

Which resolution should I choose?
For screens and slides use 150 dpi, for fine text 200 dpi, and for printing 300 dpi. Higher dpi means larger image files.
PNG or JPEG?
Use PNG (lossless) for text and diagrams, and JPEG or WebP (smaller) for photo-heavy pages.
Will Japanese text render correctly?
Yes — CMaps are used, so CJK text normally renders correctly. If fonts are not embedded in the PDF, some characters may use a fallback font.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything is processed in your browser.
