PDF Page Size

Scanned or phone-photographed PDFs often mix page sizes. Set them all to A4 or another paper size: scale the pages to fit, or keep their size and centre them. The original size of every page is listed first.

Convert a PDF with mixed paper sizes to the paper size you choose
  1. Drop a PDF or click “Choose file”. The original size of every page is listed.

  2. Choose a paper (A4, A3, B5, Letter and so on) or a size in mm. Keep each page’s orientation, or fix it to portrait or landscape.

  3. “Scale to fit” shrinks or enlarges each page to fit inside the margin. “Keep size” centres each page at its own size; parts that do not fit are cut off.

  4. Click “Convert and save” and download the file.

What it does

Standard papers and custom millimetres

A3, A4, A5, B4, B5 (JIS), Letter and Legal, or any size from 20 to 1000 mm.

Scale to fit, or keep the size

“Scale to fit” keeps the proportions and places the page inside the margin you set. “Keep size” centres the page without scaling.

Original sizes listed per page

Each page’s width and height is shown in mm with a guessed standard paper name, so you can see which pages need changing.

No re-rendering

Pages are placed into the new file as they are, not converted to images. Text stays selectable and searchable.

Rotated pages handled

The page rotation (for scans and phone photos) is taken into account, so the pages come out upright.

Use cases

  • Print a scanned file that mixes A3 and A4 pages on A4
  • Match a phone-photographed PDF to the paper a form asks for
  • Make page sizes uniform before duplex printing
  • Change a long PDF to a custom size in millimetres

Limits & notes

  • Also works on phones and tablets, but a PC is more reliable for checking large PDFs.
  • Up to 300 MB and 1000 pages per file.
  • Custom sizes 20–1000 mm. Margin 0–50 mm.
  • With “Keep size”, a paper smaller than a page cuts off the parts that do not fit.
  • Annotations, form fields, links and bookmarks are not in the saved PDF. Keep the original if you need them.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.

Privacy & safety

Reading, checking sizes, converting and saving all happen in your browser; the PDF is never sent to a server.

FAQ

How do I make every page of a PDF A4?
Choose A4 in the paper list, keep “Scale to fit”, and click “Convert and save”. Orientation can follow each original page.
Can I make a PDF with A3 and A4 pages all A4?
Yes. Every page becomes A4. A3 pages are reduced, and A4 pages shrink slightly to leave the margin (with a 0 mm margin they are not reduced). The original size of each page is listed.
How do I change the size without scaling the content?
Choose “Keep size”. Each page keeps its content at its original size and is centred on the new paper. Parts that do not fit are cut off.
Are links and form fields kept?
No. The page appearance, text and images are kept, but annotations, form fields, links and bookmarks are not included in the new PDF.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything is processed in your browser.
