Find faces in photos automatically, hide them, and save the results
  1. Drop photos or click “Choose files” (several at once is fine). “Try a sample” lets you test the steps first.

  2. Faces are detected automatically and shown as boxes on the photo. Switch each box on or off to choose what gets hidden.

  3. Add a box by hand for a missed face. Drag a box to move it, drag its corner to resize, or type exact percentages.

  4. Pick the cover style (mosaic, blur, black fill or solid disc), strength and output format, then click “Export with these settings”. Check the result by eye.

  5. Download photos one by one, or save them all together as a ZIP.

What it does

Face detection stays on your device

Runs Google’s MediaPipe face detection model (Apache-2.0) in your browser. The model is served from this site. Photos and detection results are never sent out. Choose the near model or the far model for small faces.

Check and adjust each box

Switch each detected face on or off. Add a box for a missed area, then move and resize it by drag or by typing percentages. Everything can also be done with the keyboard.

Choice of cover style

Mosaic, blur, black fill or a solid disc. For reliable hiding, use black fill: the original pixels under it are not kept in the output.

Location data is removed too

The output is rebuilt from the pixels on screen, so the original EXIF, GPS location, embedded thumbnail and XMP are not included.

Batch and ZIP

Up to 200 photos per run, saved as one ZIP. Output as JPEG, PNG or WebP; JPEG and WebP quality can be adjusted.

Use cases

  • Hide strangers’ faces in a group photo before posting it on a blog or social media
  • Hide people’s faces in photos used in internal reports or documents
  • Blur shoppers or visitors in store or facility photos before publishing
  • Process many photos at once and receive them together as one ZIP

Limits & notes

  • Up to 50 MB and 40 megapixels per photo, 200 photos per run, and 500 boxes per photo.
  • Face detection runs on a copy scaled to 1024 px on the long side. Boxes are applied at the original size.
  • Automatic detection misses some faces. Always check the exported photos by eye.
  • Text in the picture (number plates, name tags, signs) is not hidden automatically.
  • Works on smartphones. For large or many photos, a PC is recommended because processing takes longer.

Privacy & safety

Reading, face detection, hiding, export and ZIP creation all happen in your browser. Photos and detection results are never sent to a server. The detection model and WebAssembly files are also loaded from this site.

FAQ

Will every face be found?
Front-facing, close faces are usually found, but profile, back-facing, masked, sunglassed and very small faces can be missed, and more are missed in crowd photos. Check the result before exporting and add a box by hand for any face that was not found.
Can mosaic or blur be reversed?
A weak mosaic or blur can sometimes let the original shape be guessed. For reliable hiding, choose black fill. Original pixels under black fill are not kept in the output.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Face detection and export both run on your device. The detection model and WebAssembly files are loaded from this site.
Is the GPS location removed too?
Yes. The output is rebuilt from the pixels on screen, so the original EXIF, GPS location and thumbnail are not included.
Can number plates or name tags be hidden?
Not automatically. Add a box over that area by hand, keep it switched on, then export.
Does it work on videos?
No. Only still images (JPEG, PNG and WebP) are supported.

Image Editor

Annotate a screenshot or photo, reliably hide what must not be seen, tune the colours (black-and-white included) and export — on one screen. Made for how-to guides, bug reports and social posts. Your image is never uploaded and exports carry no metadata.

Share Safe

Before you hand a file over, see what is hiding in it — listed per file with severity — and get a safe copy with everything removable removed. The copy is re-checked afterwards, and whatever is left comes with manual steps. Files are never uploaded.

EXIF & GPS Remover

Remove the location (GPS), camera details and timestamps embedded in your photos without touching image quality. Inspect what was inside and verify the result — all in your browser.

No upload

Batch Image Resizer

Resizing is free: drop a batch of images and resize them by width, longest edge, box crop and more. To change pixel dimensions, type the width or long edge in px. Make several sizes (say 320, 640 and 1280) from each image in one go, then copy ready-made srcset HTML. Your images are never uploaded.

No upload

Crop, Pad & Canvas

Drag to crop, then rotate, straighten and add padding on one screen. Export straight to the recommended X header or Instagram size. Your image is never uploaded.

No upload

Image Merge & Contact Sheet

Put your images in order and merge them into one picture: stacked, side by side, in a grid or as a contact sheet. The output size is shown before you create it, and images never leave your device.
