How to use
Drop photos or click “Choose files” (multiple files supported). “Try a sample” loads a demo photo with location data.
Cleaning starts immediately; the list shows how much was removed and flags photos that had a location.
Click the eye icon to see what was inside (camera, date taken, GPS coordinates) and exactly what was removed or kept.
If needed, change how the colour profile and orientation are handled under “Removal settings” and clean again.
Download photos one by one or all at once as a ZIP. File names stay the same.
What it does
Lossless — no re-compression
Only the metadata blocks are cut out, so not a single pixel changes. For JPEG, every output is automatically checked to have byte-identical compressed data, quantisation and Huffman tables.
See what was inside
Camera model, lens, date taken, author, editing app and GPS coordinates (decimal and DMS) are listed, with a warning when a location is found. No map service is contacted.
Photos stay upright
Portrait phone photos rely on the EXIF orientation tag. By default a minimal 26-byte EXIF holding only that tag is written back, so the location disappears but the display doesn’t break.
Finds the easy-to-miss places
Beyond EXIF: XMP (edit history, location), IPTC (author, caption), JPEG comments, PNG text and timestamps, and data appended after the image (depth maps, motion-photo video).
Keeps colours accurate
The ICC colour profile holds no personal data and is kept by default, so wide-gamut (Display P3) photos don’t turn dull. You can remove it too.
Use cases
- Remove the GPS position that reveals your home before posting on blogs or marketplaces
- Strip camera and editing-software traces from photos sent to clients
- Drop unnecessary metadata from website images without changing quality
- Check what a photo reveals before it leaves your organisation

- Up to 100 MB per file and 200 files per batch.
- HEIC / AVIF, TIFF, RAW and GIF are not supported (an error explains why).
- Removal only: you can’t keep just the date or copyright notice (orientation and colour profile excepted).
- What is visible in the picture (signs, faces, documents) may still reveal a place or person.
- File names are kept. Rename the file when saving if the name itself is personal.
Privacy & safety
Reading, analysing, cleaning and zipping all happen inside your browser. Photos and location data are never sent to or stored on a server, and no map or other external service is contacted.

Load a photo folder and identical images and near-identical photos are grouped, with one image per group recommended to keep and the reason shown. Nothing is uploaded, and your original files are never deleted or changed.
Icon Generator
From one image (or a letter or emoji), get favicon.ico, apple-touch-icon, Android/PWA icons, a maskable icon and an OGP image, plus the manifest and the <head> code to paste. Check blur at real size first — nothing leaves your browser.
Batch Image Resizer
Drop a batch of images and resize them by width, longest edge, box crop and more. Make several sizes (say 320, 640 and 1280) from each image in one go, then copy ready-made srcset HTML. Your images are never uploaded.
Image Compressor
Drop images to shrink them in bulk while keeping them sharp. Convert to WebP or AVIF, resize, and compare before and after. Your images are never uploaded.

Choose the target format first, then drop images to convert them in bulk. Tune quality per format, use lossless WebP, set a background for transparency and name the output files — nothing is uploaded.
Crop, Pad & Canvas
Drag to crop, then rotate, straighten and add padding on one screen. Export straight to the recommended X header or Instagram size. Your image is never uploaded.
